"All science require mathematics. The knowledge of mathematical things is almost innate in us. This is the easiest of scienes, a fact which is obvious in that no one's brain rejects it..........." ~ Roger Bacon
Being well aware of Mathematics, the founding sisters introduced it as one of the fundamental courses of the fledgling college in 1958. The inter relation of Mathematics and its importance in daily life is too well known to need elaboration here.

POSTGRADUATE MATHEMATICS DEPARTMENT
Academic Innovations implemented during the current year.
The Postgraduate departments of colleges in Andhra University area have not been granted Autonomy by Parent University so the curriculum planned by the University has to be followed in toto. The curriculum planned does not provide much flexibility in terms of innovations except in pedagogy and the following –
o Seminar were made as the part of weekly schedule.
o Reference work in library was made part of the curriculum
Final report of Minor Research Project on " Contributions to Fixed Point Theory in Cone Metric Spaces".
Head of the Department
Dr. Capt. K Sujatha M.Sc., Ph.D.
