 Two Year Intermediate Course (Annual System)

Part     I   : English

Part    II  : Telugu / Hindi / French/ Sanskrit

Part   III : One of the following combinations:

       1. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry                                 -   English Medium

       2. Biology (Botany, Zoology), Physics, Chemistry       -  English Medium

       3. Mathematics, Economics, Commerce                         -  English Medium

       4. History, Economics, Civics                                               -  Telugu Medium

 

 

The College endeavors to contribute to the overall development of these student and not just on academics. Even in academics attempt is made to  teach the concepts - rote learning is not encouraged.  Intermediate students do practicals through the two years and effort is made to develop correct techniques. Students are encouraged to take active part in co curricular and extra mural activities, including NSS and Sports, for wholistic development . They participate in all the Youth Festivals with astounding success.

 

 Procedure of Admission

  • Separate application forms for Intermediate - Arts, Commerce and  Science can be obtained from the college office during May-June each year according to the schedule announced over the media. 
  • A fee of Rs. 150/- should be paid in cash or by Money order for each application (in case of money order,  the course for which the application is required should be clearly specified in the coupon).
  • Outstation applicants should send a self-addressed stamped envelope along with the request for application form. Application for each combination has to be made in separate forms.
  • The application may also be downloaded from the site, in which case it should be accompanied by payment of Rs.150/- in cash or M.O or D.D in favour of St. Joseph's College for Women, Visakhapatnam. drawn on any Nationalised Bank payable at Visakhapatnam.
  • Applications without the Matriculation/I.C.S.E/S.S.C/C.B.S.E marks will not be considered.
  • Selected applicants will receive an Interview Call and this selection will be valid only up to the date mentioned on it.
  • Those who do not receive any communication from the college should understand that they have not been selected.
  • All correspondence should be addressed only to

      Selected candidates should pay the prescribed fees not later than the date mentioned on the   Interview  Call and produce  the following Certificates in Original and Xerox Copy.

  1.   Matriculation/I.C.S.E/S.S.C/C.B.S.E certificate 
  2.   Statement of Marks 
  3.   Transfer and conduct certificate 
  4.   Date of birth certificate 
  5.   Migration certificate 
  6.   Aadhaar Card and email id
  7.   Caste and income certificates.
  8.   Baptism Certificate for Catholic Students

              The Term Fees will NOT be refunded if a student leaves the college once she has been enrolled and her name entered in the College Records.
